This cartoon is showing all of the current Republican candidate running for president in the 2012 election. As of right now the NCAA basketball tournament is taking place around the country. The Final Four is the last stage in the tournament before the big game (National Championship). This cartoon is comparing the candidates to this event. The final four candidates are Paul, Gingrich, Santorum, and Romney. They are all running against each other to see who will face President Obama for race for the 2012 president. The cartoon expresses a Paul in fourth place, Gingrich in third place, Santorum in second place, and by a storming height Romney in first place. I agree with this cartoon because if you do actual research on the race, Mitt Romney has generally been beating everyone at the polls.
