This cartoon is showing an enormous line for people who are trying to receive their unemployment money. In the past few years their has been a major increase in unemployment. The economy has been terrible and people cannot find jobs or they are being laid off. Mitt Romney a Republican candidate running for the 2012 Presidential election is talking to man. He is stating that he is a close friend of the person who is in charge of laying off people and responsible for the money. What I got from this cartoon is that Mitt Romney is not for improving the economy and helping individuals get back on their feet and that he does not care about Americans well being.
